AllCreteBlueGreen

AllCreteBlueGreen – All Crete Blue Green is a European sport project implemented under the Erasmus+ Programme. Its main aim is to promote healthy lifestyles, well-being and physical activity in natural environments. The project builds on the experience of the previous “Blue Green Exercise” and “Deep Blue Green” initiatives by combining water-based and land-based activities with education on health, psychology, nutrition, ecology and sustainability.
The project is centred around events organised in Crete and inspired by the European Week of Sport and the HealthyLifestyle4All initiative. The planned activities include kayaking, paddleboarding, open-water swimming, SUP-yoga, sailing, hiking, trail running, cycling, e-biking, yoga, pilates, dance, relaxation activities, and health- and environment-oriented workshops.
The project follows a holistic approach: sport and movement are understood not only as forms of physical activity, but also as tools for supporting mental health, motivation, social integration and a deeper connection with nature. The activities will integrate elements of positive psychology, sport psychology, ecopsychology and well-being education.
A strong emphasis will be placed on accessibility and social inclusion. The project addresses a broad range of participants, including older people, physically inactive people, families, people with physical disabilities and people with reduced intellectual abilities. Through cooperation between partners from many European countries, the project will also create a space for exchanging experiences, good practices and international cooperation in the fields of sport, health and sustainability.
Kick-Off Meeting
On 5 May 2026, the [PROJECT NAME] consortium held its official kick-off meeting, launching a partnership of 13 organisations from 12 countries — Greece, Sweden, Latvia, Poland, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Malta, Portugal, Cyprus, Germany and Austria.
Coordinated by "O Anemos" (Greece), partners introduced their organisations, agreed on the project's objectives and work plan, and set out how they'll collaborate across borders. Just as importantly, it was a first chance to meet, exchange ideas, and start building the trust that makes European partnerships work.
This is only the beginning — we look forward to sharing every step with you.
