The project seeks to promote more inclusive, open and democratic leadership in the youth field, improving quality and innovation in work with young people. The aim is to develop and validate methodologies that encourage active participation and inclusion, and share these practices through wide dissemination to strengthen youth work at the local, national and international level.

The project will implement a series of activities structured in different work packages, including research into current practices in youth leadership, the development and pilot testing of new inclusive methodologies, and a broad dissemination strategy. These activities will range from the exhaustive analysis of existing challenges to the creation and validation of innovative tools and approaches, ending with the dissemination of results and training of youth sector professionals.

The first LTTA in Teulada, Spain marked an important early milestone for the project, bringing partners together to work hands-on on the development of the research methodology.

The focus? Aligning approaches, refining research tools, and ensuring a shared understanding of how data will be collected and analysed in the coming phases. A practical, no-nonsense meeting that helped turn good intentions into a solid research framework—because methodology may not be glamorous, but it saves a lot of headaches later.
